Mozart – Allegro KV Anh. 91 (516c) – für Klarinettenquartett

Mozarts Allegro KV Anh. 91 (516c) wurde ursprünglich für Klarinette in B und Streichquartett komponiert. Die ersten 90 Takte, die Exposition, sind vollständig ausgearbeitet – doch das Autograf bricht plötzlich ab.

Für diese Bearbeitung habe ich eine kurze Durchführung ergänzt und das Werk für die Besetzung der VIENNA CLARINET CONNECTION eingerichtet. So wird das unvollendet überlieferte Stück für Klarinettenquartett spielbar.

Besetzung: 2 Klarinetten, Bassetthorn Bassklarinette. Alternativstimmen für 3. Klarinette oder Alt-Klarinette.

Mozart – Allegro K. Anh. 91 (516c) for Clarinet Quartet

Mozart’s Allegro K. Anh. 91 (516c) was originally composed for B-flat clarinet and string quartet. The first 90 bars, comprising the exposition, are fully worked out, but the autograph breaks off abruptly.

For this arrangement, I composed a short development section and adapted the piece for the instrumentation of the VIENNA CLARINET CONNECTION, making this unfinished work performable by a clarinet quartet.

Instrumentation: 2 clarinets, basset horn, bass clarinet. Alternative parts for 3rd clarinet or alto clarinet.
